"Property is beautiful and the rooms are great. Only problem was A/C was obnoxiously loud and needs maintenance for sure. Lots of rattling. Also small thing but I am a solo female traveller for work and there's a rule in hotels to not say a guests room number out loud and the desk agent said it out loud. Something to consider for the customer service staff. "

"The building is historical, nice property. Beautiful area and super cute town. The room was nice, although for the price I would like to have a real breakfast. I don't know if they do that on weekdays, but I was there overnight on Saturday and got two muffins in the fridge and coffee. I think it's worth it for the experience."

"The front desk staff person was very friendly and welcoming. I liked that it is a pet-friendly hotel! I liked the roomy bathroom. There was plenty of space for the litter box, food dishes, large carrier, and other things our cat needs. As we don't let the cat out in the main room, a sliding glass door across the shower would make life lt easier, as we could then have kitty in the bathtub behind the glass door and still use the rest of the washroom! I don't expect this will change by next...

"Staff were very friendly & helpful. Hotel was clean but you can tell it's somewhat old and needs some cosmetic refreshing. Beds were a bit hard but I like soft anyhow but yet still good condition. Our rooms each had a small patio looking out at the canal. Could use a small table and 2 chairs to have first cup of coffee in the morning. "
