"We’ve stayed at this BW multiple times and it is always very good…our room this stay was smaller than most we have stayed in and the AC unit was loud unfortunately. We mentioned it upon check out and the staff apologized said they would have maintenance look at it right away. Will continue to book with this Hotel as it is in a great location and has an amazing restaurant."

"Beautiful rural setting, friendly hosts who readily answered any questtions regarding the property. Complete kitchen, plenty of aupplies (towels, soaps, books for all ages, logs and supplies for the wiod burning stove etc.) Everytging exceeded my expectations. Lots of parking with easy access into the home."

"I wanted to like this place, but overall it fell short. The room felt pretty worn down, with scratched-up walls and exposed plumbing in the bathroom that made it feel unfinished and not very well maintained. The biggest issue for me was the in-wall AC unit. It’s an older style, and unfortunately there was a bird’s nest in the exterior housing. Throughout the night, I kept hearing scratching and metal noises that made it really hard to sleep. I told the girl at the front desk. She apologized but didn't offer anything to make up for my lack of sleep. I should have slept in my car. The one bright spot was the staff—they were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. But between the condition of the room and the noise, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again."

"The Bear Den is a great no so little house and had everything we needed: kitchen well equipped, comfortable beds, a sunny living room, a choice of dog beds, a room to store our gear and an air hockey table! Our hosts were outstanding! We were welcomed with goodies and tips on the area, even some useful food items when we start a long stay… and doggie treats. They checked regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. All in all, a convenient location to do all kinds of activities as well. Merci!"
