"We had a fantastic stay at the Waterfront Hotel. It is very central in Sliema and is a short distance to the ferry which gives access to Valletta in 5 minutes. I could not fault my stay at this hotel. We had a seafront room and the views were spectacular. The staff are so attentive and could not do enough for you. A special thanks to Anu who was such a nice girl and always took time to speak with a lot of the guests. The food was delicious with a good selection and even though it was a buffet breakfast if you ever asked the staff for anything they would go and get it for you. A lot of hotels would have directed you to get it yourself. That is good customer service. A lot of nice touches, like Barista making a range of coffees, Fresh orange machine and small trays to carry things (sounds like a small thing but when you are trying to carry teapots, plates and glasses it made it so much easier and you didn't have to keep going back to pick up things! This holiday was a 60th Birthday treat for me and I was met with balloons and a beautiful cake when I checked into my room, such a lovely touch. I will definitely be back and would have no hesitation recommending them. I booked this hotel through Hotels.com and because I am now a Gold member I received 25% of Food & Beverages on one occasion. All in all from booking to staying everything was seamless."

"We loved the location of the property, walking distance from the fond gadir and many restaurants which made it easy. The room was nice and bathroom also good. The only thing I would mention is that the balcony handrail was not secure."

"Nice clean hotel located in a quiet residential area in a narrow street. Everything was good at the hotel didn't like the pool area. Very very small pool surrounded by a tall building and high wall that limits direct sunlight you are mostly in shaded area so can sun bath"

"Loved the facilities rooftop pool gym and indoor pool etc. Superb friendly and helpful employees. Lovely food at temptasian with great sunset views. Excellent shower though over the bath toiletries etc. Good buffet breakfast. Only niggle pillows very soft and old though mattress was pretty new but no mattress protector.Bed was comfortable. Some odd noise in our room which didnt cause a problem. We were in 817."

"The Diplomat Hotel has rooms which overlook the mediterranean sea. They are clean, comfortable with excellent facilities. Breakfast is of the highest quality and excellent choice of dishes. Staff are friendly and helpful. I had an enjoyable stay and can highly recommend it. "
