"Hotel Skaftafell is the only hotel located in Skaftafell and we chose it to be close to the National Park for a glacier hike. The view out of our room was of a glacier and there was a short trail to it. Hotel staff were helpful upon arrival and informed us that our only options for dinner were the hotel or the convenience store across the street. We opted for the convenience store since we were heading to the glacier lagoon. The beds were not very comfortable so glad it was only a one night...
