"The cabin was clean and renovated, the only thing is if you visit during summertime, the courtains do not fully block the sunlight, and even with our masks was hard to sleep. The ambience and view is lovely! would love to have included breakfast, they had it for an extra price."
"Amazing cozy cottage. Room is decent and feels like home. We don't know how to function the electric stove and the owner was helpful to step in within 10 mins for help. I wish I can spent few more days here and my mom said she wants to stay here forever lol. It was a very quite place and I feels like go for a cottage. I heard the birds humming with the breezy wind.
Very close to go back Jökulsárlón for the tour. The draw side is a bit far to walk to the building for the free coffee/tea from my wooden cottage."
"The mountain views were stunning and in particular even from the window while taking a shower!
This is a beautiful property, comfy beds with black out blinds on the windows!
The coffee and tea provided were thoroughly enjoyed :)"
"The place to check-in was down the road a couple of miles and on the other side of the road and back a ways to a hotel/ restaurant that they owned! Everything was fine once we found the place! There were no black out blinds anywhere in the cottage and for a June stay it was very bright all night! The place is a little bit small no place for luggage but each of the two downstairs bedrooms had their own bathroom!"
"Everything about this hotel was great, especially after a long day of driving and sightseeing. The restaurant was wonderful the bathrobe and slippers and sauna really added to a relaxing evening. Great experience."
"The property is a little run down but it has everything you need. We stayed on the first floor, the bathroom and the shower worked fine. Some of the old reviews we looked at talked about issues that it looks like have been fixed. We had multiple power outlets in our room. You could hear folks on the second floor above but they quieted down before long. The kitchen area and common area is nice and they provided coffee to make which was great for the morning. It is about an hour from Skaftafell Park which is mostly convenient. I saw to check in at the hotel so that was not an issue. I think the price could be a bit less for what you get. Below $200/night and this would be a 5/5 review."
