"We loved the island! The condo was clean and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The views were amazing. The pool area was beautiful and there is a private boardwalk to the beach. A golf cart was provided and was a MUST. This was such a fun way to explore the island.The ferry service was expensive and we were charged an extra 50 for our cooler making it 170 one way for 2 adults and 2 kids. I would recommend traveling light , however bringing enough to prepare some meals as the grocery store on the island doesn’t have much. You will also have to pay for transport from the ferry to your condo. Pat was super nice and helpful from Daufuskie Life- we recommend calling them.The restaurants were delicious and we really enjoyed fry’s corner and their onion rings! We also walked to bloody point beach and found several hermit crabs sand dollars and unique shells at low tide!"

"I was looking to decompress. Even though there were houses next door and across the street, the Evan Cottage on Daufuskie Island was quiet and a perfect place for me to do just that. I plan to go back. "

"Stayed for a mother/daughter trip. Property was perfect for size and location. We enjoyed walking right out to the beach and relaxing with a view of the ocean in the evenings. Property was clean and well-maintained. "

"This was our first visit to Daufuskie Island, and the island itself is absolutely beautiful. For the most part, we had a great time. However, we did experience a few issues with the condo, though the staff was very friendly and made efforts to address our concerns.One major issue was the refrigerator, which was not functioning properly. It couldn’t keep our food cold, The staff kindly provided us with some ice and even offered to move our food to another unit. However, since we had limited time on the island, we decided not to take advantage of the offer to avoid the hassle.Additionally, the TV in the bunk bed room didn’t work because the cord couldn’t reach the outlet. The staff was quick to provide an extension cord, which helped resolve the issue.The cleanliness of the condo also left something to be desired. There was a lot of dust on the desk in the living room, which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. Since it was one of the first things you notice when you enter, it gave a bit of an unpleasant impression right off the bat.Despite these issues, we had a great time on the island and appreciated the staff’s efforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible"
