Villa Scacciapensieri Boutique Hotel

4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (400)
"Most relaxing Tuscany venue and area with a refreshing
pool
and attentive staff. On site breakfast delicious with a nice assortment of fruit and pastries. The full bar available 24 hrs . Only two notes : In room coffee would be preferred and is not available. Only USB in the rooms for charging and adapters only worked in the bathroom; the other outlets could not accommodate EU plugs or phone chargers . "

Hotel La Colonna

3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (246)
"Hotel La Colonna is a lovely hotel with a
pool
set in gardens but it’s the location that is a problem. It is set on a main through road on the outskirts of Siena. You will have to bus or taxi into the centre. Buses don’t run at night. We did eat at a lovely family run Italian pizza restaurant close by and there are a few other eateries but you are limited. The receptionist Alexandra (?) was so lovely and informative and seemed to work in all areas. There are not many staff here. Overall,...

"Nice property (especially the
pool
), great staff & breakfast. Remote and very limited restaurant opportunities. NOTE: Very rude service people throughout the downtown area. The worst I have experienced in the 20 countries & 60 cities - I have been in to date...By far. There are much nicer Italian cities to visit!! "

Casale Virgili

8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (94)
"Room was very basic with no tea/coffee making facilities. There was a shared kitchen with lots of unopened packets left inside the cupboard above the cooker.
Pool
was lovely and great views from the communal area. The TV in the room was very small and the volume wasnt loud enough to hear over the air conditioning. The air conditioning was very poor. The bed was very firm and we were only given one pillow each. Remember to take your own water as there was none available. The breakfast was...

Camping Siena Colleverde

3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (151)
"Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming
pool
- swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the
pool
bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! Staff at reception...

"Beautiful old monastery turned into a unique property. This was a perfect stay in Tuscany! The
