The front desk team is super helpful and friendly, and they speak great English. The rooms are very clean and a bit more spacious than what youād expect in a typical Japanese hotelāthey even have a microwave, a mini kitchen, and a separate bathroom and toilet. Youāre close to lots of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores, and Okubo Station is just a few minutes away. Weād definitely stay here again!

I loved this little gem of a hotel. The staff is lovely and the hotel is affordable and really clean. The walls are also super thick so you donāt hear the baseball games that might happen across the street. I also loved the location. The street is quiet but metro close and so many places walkable. Iāll certainly stay here again,

Great location in Shinjuku and easy access to surrounding areas. Relatively close to Shinjuku station and not a far walk. Laundry is in the unit and the staff changes out towels and makes the beds every day. They also provide extra detergent pods if you run low. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too.
The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze.
My only real complaint is that the laundry facility was too small. There were often 2 hour lines of folks waiting to get loads...

Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo.
The hotel's ambiance was simply beautiful, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious for a city known for compact spaces. Its prime location, just a 5-minute walk from a JR line, made navigating Tokyo incredibly convenient. Plus, being within walking distance of fantastic restaurants and yes, even the indispensable 7-11s, added immense value to our stay.

The Narita Airport limosine bus stops directly at this hotel, so it's very convenient if you don't want to carry a bunch of luggage on the shinkansen/local trains. There's a FamilyMart in a section of the building, on the second floor. The nearest metro station is the Akasaka-mitsuke station, and use the D exit (the yellow blocks on Google Maps). The staff is incredibly helpful, and we never felt uncomfortable asking for help with luggage/storage, or asking for more sheets/towels. Even Hilton's...

Perfect spot as it was close to the Shibuya sights but hidden away from the noise. Washing machine was very helpful, but make sure to have google translate on your phone so you can translate the characters via the photo feature.
FYI use the āNew South Exitā from Shibuya station and it puts you within a 3 min walk from the exit to the hotel. The exit/entrance also puts you directly on platform 3/4. If not then youāll have to walk around the station to get in (20 min vs. 10).

We sat outside with the provided breakfast each day, with NO traffic noise, as the hotel fronts on a Bike/Hike path. It was very sociable and pleasant, and sets a wonderful tone to start the day. The attached coffeeshop is also popular with the dogwalkers, so the front patio is cheerful and fluffy every day.
