"Lovely stay for a few days in Norfolk, in a good location. We struggled with parking on the first day arriving during bank holiday weekend - we had to park on a random street 10 minutes away. So we weren’t able to bring our luggage with us to check in, and had to wait until the evening to get a parking space. The staff weren’t particularly helpful when we asked what we should do in this situation, but they seemed quite busy and stressed. There was also a problem with our room key being missing - the situation was a bit chaotic. So this paired with the parking didn’t get us off to the best start. The room was comfortable with a large bed and had everything we needed. The shower was powerful and warm. Only thing to note was the sink was in the bedroom not the bathroom which is worth noting. The room, and the hallways of the main house could do with a refresh of paint too. Our room overlooked the courtyard and it was quite warm so we had the window open which did mean it was a bit noisy at night, especially over the bank holiday. The food was very good. Both at breakfast and for dinner. The breakfast menu could have done with a couple more hot options for when you are staying more than a couple days as it did get repetitive. But the food was fresh and tasty and the continental spread was good. Overall a lovely hotel, but it could just improve a little in places to deliver the experience they are wanting to offer."

"Honestly, we could not have asked for a better stay. Ian’s communication throughout was excellent and he was incredibly accommodating with some requests we had. The house was immaculately clean and set up with everything we could possibly need. We all commented how lucky we were to find this place throughout the weekend and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for an exceptional stay"

"The Den is superb. Well furnished and very clean and tidy. The only holiday home we've been to where I don't feel the need to detox everything in sight! The owners are a lovely couple and so helpful. We are returning guests and have no hesitation in booking again."

"No email with access codes so problems getting in, which could have left us outside until the office reopened the next day. Particularly annoying that we were told we were not the first people to have no email. So do something about it! The internet is extremely poor in the Workshop half, the whole of Long Barn had to use the Chaff code to get any internet - phone signal nil. Fridge too small for the accommodation. Oven instructions not in the place the booklet claimed, in fact they are not there at all. Too few bin bags for the number staying. Housekeeping request for tea towels ignored. Hot water inadequate for the accommodation. No key to the shared space and more comfortable seats. All that money and we are required to strip our own beds!! We have stayed in many cottages and NEVER had to do this before. It could be lovely, the situation is good, the space generally good but little niggles let it down. Could not recommend until the niggles are sorted."

"We really had a great holiday at Garden Cottage with very hot weather. Everything about the cottage was good and the only downside was the uncomfortable sofa. The location is ideal with plenty of places to visit.The wine, biscuits etc were appreciated very much. Would hope to be back next year."
