The property was in a lovely location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I do feel the price of an overnight stay should include breakfast as I find £14.95 per person a bit high

A lovely old house in expansive parkland. Good food with great staff throughout. I can see why many guests return time and time again, very relaxing. A few issues do need addressing though: The old lift needs caution notices warning of the sudden stopping at floor levels. This could cause injury to joints/spine etc. We only had one half used toilet roll in the bathroom. No kettle/cups/tea and coffee in bedroom. One point which disappointed us in particular was we were charged 80p for a splash of soda water in my wife’s glass of wine. This was not a spritzer it was a splash.
