"Beautiful property. We loved the garden!Comfortable house with everything we needed. Easy to get to York from. Would recommend & would definitely visit again."

"Very nice staff, very clean room, nice clean bathroom nice shower over the bath plenty of hot water good water pressure, 2 small bottles of shampoo and body wash and a small bar of soap towels provided. Nice room with desk and chairs the bed was comfortable. Not enough power points to charge your phone/laptop/watch no USB points especially difficult if two people have items to charge at the same time maybe bring an extension lead/plug. Car parking is charged and expensive especially if staying longer than one night, and no conssesions for disabled parking and only one disabled parking space. Hotel is on a busy road but you don't hear the traffic noise in the hotel room. We didn't eat in the hotel as we always ate out and bought a snack back with us to have in the room. Hotel is on a duel carriageway and you have to go up to the roundabout to be able to get back to the hotel as there is no gap to get across to the hotel depending on which way you are travelling to and from the hotel."

"Both the evening meal and breakfast were only just warm which was disappointing. Room 1 was a good size but would have preferred a shower enclosure rather than a shower over the bath. Overall our stay served its purpose as an overnight stay en route to our destination, it was adequate but no more."

"Willow Cottage was a great base for our week away exploring Yorkshire (including a fantastic day at The Great Yorkshire Show). James et al were accomodating in every way and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage has a well equipped Kitchen with some essentials, and plenty of storage space throughout. A handy welcome booklet, some local attraction leaflets and local OS map are supplied which came on very useful when thinking up of ideas to entertain our young kids. Harrogate/Knaresborough are worth an explore and only an easy 30 minutes drive, and we were closer to York than initially thought. A lovely stay, would highly recommend. "
