"Overall this property is fantastic! The house is old, but well kept and very clean. It feels cozy and relaxing. The appliances are definitely a little out dated but seem to work just fine. Be prepared to put your body into opening the sliding doors. We loved our master bed, but some of our friends said the other beds were hard. We also had a hard time with the couch/bed. Bring an air mattress - it’s just easier. I’d also say to bring extra blankets/towels. There were just enough for everyone to get one. The house is off of a busy road so you will hear cars driving by, but it isn’t obnoxious and you’re so high on the hill you don’t see them. The fire pit, grill and hot tub were all easy to use and clean! Great features to add to your stay! The house fit all 7 adults and 2 kids well, was very clean, a 15 min drive to hiking trails and close enough to still drive to town. Absolutely would stay here again! "

"Absolutely awesome location. Had everything we needed and the backyard right on the river with the fire pit was a huge bonus. They provided all the wood needed to have the best fires. Incredible and relaxing. A stone through from so many awesome Shenandoah National forest trails too. Great access to gas/groceries less than 3miles away of need. This place is a lovely gem!!! Truly lovely "
