"Lovely rustic villa in the foothills of the Apuan Alps with stunning views over vinyards, the town and the sea. We were warmly greeted by owners Francesca and Manu, who invited us to join them for a buffet and to taste some of the wine they produce. The villa is set on a steep hillside on 3 levels (so you need to be ok with going up and down stairs!) The pool is set on the same level as the ground floor and has seating and sunbeds alongside. The local ameneties in nearby Ripa are limited, but...

"Purtroppo la notte si dorme a tratti un po per il via vai di macchine siccome la casa sta proprio al semaforo e un po per i proprietari che alloggiano al piano superiore. Se si vuole la luce accesa (per sentirsi piu sicuri) sulla porta d'ingresso esterno viene spenta dal proprietario la notte. "

"This is a beautiful and calm place, comfortable to live. The air is cooler and cleaner than near the beach. It takes around 30 minutes to reach the beach by car, but it is reasonable. Special thanks to the owners, who were very helpful and nice to us!!! One of the best places I have stayed so far."
