"The property itself was not the best. The parking lot needed some maintenance. The other issue was the shabby, put-together way that maintenance was done around the property. The vending machines were not to be found where the signs showed Ice/Vending Machine. Now to the room. Three light bulbs were missing from the lamps. One of the drawers on the dresser was broken. There were rust stains in and around the shower/tub. However, the location was perfect for restaurants and the historic downtown drive."

"The booking details doesn't tell you that the place is filled with dealers and other undesirable neighbors. I was concerned for the safety of my car and my wellbeing enough that i left after the first night. I wouldn't have stayed that night if i wasn't already exhausted from travel and it being after 11pm. The staff were friendly and the room was clean as it could be, considering the age of the property, but the clientele made me abandon ship even with the no refunds policy. "

"This property has been renovated, it looks great my room had a fridge and microwave, is located on the service road of I35 N , they still working on it but it is very clean , and close to many places. I will stay again here. Outside is not so nice but rooms are clean and fresh. Parking is secure with a fence, so you can sleep peacefully, price is very good.. no breakfast no pool"

"Most horrible hotel we’ve stayed at yet. Room smelled gross. A/c took forever to freshen the room. Bathroom was fallen apart. Towels were all stained black. Toilet paper hadn’t been restock when we got the room. Only had half a roll for 5 people. Only 2 towels available for 5 people. Front desk didn’t greet upon arriving, only came out to give our key and walked away. Never again staying here! Horrible and disgusting experience. We didn’t even want to stay for breakfast the next morning."

The property is definitely understated, but for my specific requirements to sleep, shower, and be left alone, it was perfect. At $80 for a two-night stay, the value is undeniable. It functions exactly as intended without any unnecessary fluff. It simply works for what you need it to do. Pro Tip: The Mexican joint right next door is excellent. It is a significant tactical advantage for a quick and quality meal."
