Within walking distance to San Marcos heritage district via very pretty and active Riverwalk. For the price Red Roof Inn was a pleasant stay.

It is definitely an older run down hotel. If you just need a place to sleep it works but it had a smell of rubbing alcohol that was really strong. But it was a comfortable bed and the air conditioner got nice and cold. The manager was very friendly but the nighttime employee was not. I probably would not recommend.
