"My daughter and I stayed out here for the second year in a row while we attended the MTTS festival. The staff is amazing! This has been consistent for both heads. They’re friendly and helpful at check-in and good about explaining all the amenities. Last year our room was on the first floor and it was just fine. This year we had a room on the second floor, and while it was not terrible, the fixtures could definitely use some updating. The faucet to our shower was almost coming off, as an example. And I really don’t like being negative, I just think this hotel is in a great location to both Asheboro downtown and accessible to places like Walmart for example. So I’m hoping to inspire the manager to make a few tiny updates to some of their rooms. Another nit picky note: on the local restaurant list we found on the top of the dresser, there’s mentions of major chains such as Subway, for example. But we found no lists of local restaurants downtown such as Magnolia 23, one of Asheboro’s best; Flying Pig, The Table. A few that’s definitely worth mentioning."

"The house, the dock, the patios were wonderful. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the water level, which is not something that the owner has control over. We very much enjoy our stay and we definitely come back again."

"I absolutely loved this place! It was very cozy, comfortable, and in a great location close to downtown. Everything made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"This lake house was perfect! All you need for fun on the lake with an awesome sunset view each evening. Covered cement carport for relaxing in the shade. Enough parking for around 4 cars. Beds slept great, it was clean. Bathroom towels were even very fluffy and thick and nice. We definately enjoyed our stay. The host Mr Jerry was very welcoming and very quick with any questions we had. Thank you Mr. Jerry for our wonderful week on the lake."
