"The Adventure Lodge was such a wonderful place to relax and gather with our family of 6 adults and two young children. It was much larger than we were expecting and so well laid-out with several spaces to hang out together or separately (living room, game room, sun room). There was even a door from the living room to the hallway, making for extra-quiet sleeping (perfect for our little ones).The toys in the game room and the outdoor playhouse were a fun bonus and the quiet neighborhood streets were great for walks and stroller rides. There were also relaxing patios on the side and back of the house, and we spent several hours sitting on the long covered front porch.From the house it was a quick easy drive to the NC Zoo for one day's adventure. Another day we went to the Greensboro Science Center, which our 3-year old grand daughter loved even more! We had one rainy day, when we took a quick trip to the nearby Asheboro Mall, but the house was so spacious and comfortable we would have been happy just staying there for the entire visit. And did I mention clean? It has to be the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed in. I also loved that it was tastefully but minimally decorated - not overly cluttered like some other places we've stayed at in the past.Julie was very quick to respond to all my messages, and instructions were very clear. Check-in was a breeze. This was certainly one of the best VRBOs we've stayed in, and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area."
