"The accommodation is over priced for what you get. There were hairs and black pubic hair in the bed when I pulled back the duvet - something I wasn’t expecting to see. The bedding is poor quality; the pillows are flat micro fibre, duvet thin micro fibre and the mattress cover is thin almost see through, the mattress is poor quality too. "I had a two night stay at Glenbrittle while visiting Isle of Skye. The room was comfy enough (a little cramped for ten people), the bathrooms were nice and very clean, the common areas were well stocked and cozy. There's also a great waterfall right across the road from the hostel and plenty of sheep and lambs to watch in the evenings. "

The sheet was very thin with dirt on it. Issues that had to be fixed like the window getting stuck and the shower tap being stuck on scalding hot. "It was great. So much better than expected. Beware only three people can cook at a time as there is only three cookers. That said the kitchen is a very good size and generally well equipped. Good sized dinning room. Overall the centre is well equipped, serviced and friendly helpfull staff. Add to boot about a ten minute walk to the town for supplies etc."

"This was my first time staying in a hostel. It was very well set up. Easy to check in. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the facility. Our room was a bit noisy due to being beside the bathroom but they have rules to keep things quiet during night time hours. We just needed an area to sleep so we did not make use of the other parts of the facility but it looked very well maintained and the shared kitchen area looked very well organized. "As hostels go, it was fine. Plenty of space, a decent kitchen and dining area separate from a seating area. 20mins bus ride from town or £8.40 in a taxi isn’t ideal nor is the lack of a drying room. This last one would think a prerequisite given the location and clientele but apparently not."

"The property had a great view and a convenient location. The balcony was nice. It is a little loud at night when you have the windows/balcony door open, which we did because it was warm. I appreciated the milk for coffee in the fridge. The coffeeshop across the street is fantastic as well, and the river is right there. Staff were super communicative and helpful when we had a travel-related issue. Would absolutely stay again. "
