"An absolutely beautiful hotel that's an easy walk from the old Medieval walls of York. The hotel room was gorgeous, with a lovely balcony, and the reception and housekeeping staff were wonderful. Genuinely one of my favorite hotels that I've stayed at recently."

"Only stayed briefly overnight and didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food or other facilities. Pros - very clean, quick check in/out from friendly staff, room was spacious and bed was comfy. However, it’s very tired and dated - floorboards squeaked, and the fittings/furniture etc is overdue a refresh and refurbishment. Didn't really detract from an overnight stay, but did mean the hotel lacked a luxury feel."
