"El hodpedaje muy bien: Habitaciones muy cómodas, silenciosas, excelente servicio de mi host. Solo 2 cosas a destacar de aspecto negativo: 1) Recepcionista solo hablaba italiano, por lo cual comunicarse claramente en Ingles o Español resultava por lo menos dificil. 2) Pompeii como zonas comerciales a 1 hora a pie, pasando por zonas que se veían poco seguras. Para alguien con automivil propio o de alquiler sería cómodo, pero pars viajeros de a pie y con poco servicio de taxi resultó incómoda la movilidad."

"Strange location down an alley, off of an old cobblestone street. Had 3 different electronic entries, an old, tiny lift that didnt quite line up with the floor. It took being sent 3 codes to get to finally get in and there were roll down shutters on the outsides of the windows, which couldn't be opened. We never met a live person and the whole experience was strange. On an up note. The shower and bed were better than adequate"

"Read a lot of mixed reviews about this hotel but we wanted a hotel with good access to Pompei without the price tag. The staff didn't speak English but I personally dont expect this of a hotel abroad. The staff were accommodating and with the help of google translate we had a great stay. The location was great for us. Quiet, with a local store with necessities 5mins walk away. Train station a 20min walk away which we managed easily as it was flat. The room we booked had a mountain view and looked over lime trees which was lovely to wake up to. The room was basic which i expected from the price. Housekeeping come every day and were great. We were given fresh towels everyday which I personally didn't think is necessary. Breakfast was typically italian lots of choice but not a variety, lots of types of bread. Nothing warm and once it ran out it seemed it wasnt topped up. Sometimes we got yoghurts so it could do with a look into being more regulated with options. We added the dinner option and ate at the restaurant which was a 2min walk away. Felt safe walking with my daughter each night but we are used to a more rural location. The restaurant staff again didn't speak English but they never got our order wrong. We used the pool once which could do with a refurb but not dirty. We arranged a trip to mount vesuvius through the hotel which went all to plan and reasonably priced. Train costs- Scafati to Pompei €1.50 single Scafati to Naples €3.30 single"

"This beautiful property was a welcome reprieve from our long travels. The family has been involved with this property for multiple generations and the care they provide to the guests and lush gardens, make it feel like a slice of heaven in the middle of the city. Highly recommend!"

"After initially telling me I would have to pay 40 euros to have my dogs stay in room . Agreement was made that they would stay in my van . Alfonso was a good host and made a generous breakfast in the morning. Grazie"

"Agriturismo Mare e Monti was amazing! This has been the best stay of our Italy trip. The family that runs and owns the farm welcomed us as if we were family. Mom is an exceptional cook and every meal was scrumptious. The food is cooked with fresh ingredients, including fresh eggs, and anything not grown on the farm is sourced locally. Oh! And did I mention the cooking lessons? Fresh home-made pasta-yum! Given that the farm is located in the mountains near the Amalfi coast, it’s a peaceful and quiet area. The room assigned to us was very comfortable and spacious with a large tub in the bathroom. The wine is delicious - the family has been making their own wine for five generations. If you’re looking to get to know how it feels to be in the country with locals, but close enough to Amalfi, Positano and Ravello, this is the perfect place for you! We’ll definitely be returning!"
