"In a word, fabulous. The villa is located in a very quiet area, the stay was in perfect peace (the occasional and distant dog barking is not disturbing at all and the neighbors' dogs are completely calm). It's almost a miracle that the villa is also a few minutes drive from the centre of Funchal, also a large supermarket with groceries, meat, fish and everything you need and also a great starting point for any trip. "Pros: Had a wonderful time in your Beach House! The views were more beautiful than I ever imagined. Family had one of our favorite vacations. Cons: Showers need immediate repair. First bedroom shower downstairs was stopped up and the pan filled with water. The other 2 bedroom showers leaked and flooded the bathroom floors. A little repair would make a big difference."

"The house is beautifully located and the views from the terrace are stunning. It is a small but very lovely stone house with all the necessary comfort and with a lot of charme. The very steep road to get there and the narrow entrance to the parking space required some getting used to, but after a few days this was not worth a thought anymore (but we were happy to have a mini SUV...). We were very pleased and would come back again anytime."
