"The staff was nice and I liked how it fit our family of 5 comfortably in three beds. However some minor inconveniences such as the room safety box not working, the telephone not working (so we can call the front desk ie for more towels or complain about the safety box not working) was annoying. The jacuzzi, one of the main reasons for us choosing this place over other places was also not working.(it was going to be fixed on the day we were leaving). The general manager was nice and refunded $100 off our reservation to make up for the inconvenience which was a nice gesture. And also offered to cancel the rest of the booking for no penalty if we wanted to stay somewhere else. It was only one more day, so we decided to stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Marina Beach Motel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size and as described, the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options. The location was excellent, it's very close to the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and places to see. We were only staying one night and would have happily stayed for longer, both to enjoy the motel and to explore Santa Barbara some more."
