Mt Etna adventure: Drove up to Cave Ox in Solicchiata where we tried 4 different wines, fresh pasta and Tiramusu, on to Zafferana for beautiful views and delicious gelato then continued as high as we could where the kids climbed to the top, we didn't quite make it as high after 4 glasses of wine and pasta, the lava sand is not easy to climb up, but fun to slide down!! Such an amazing adventure!!! It's like Hawaii and the moon had a shining baby, named Mt Etna, I could live up here!!!

"When we arrived we were greeted by the owners very lovely grandfather. The apartment is beautiful, just like the photos and other than the flooring, in like nee condition. The fridge was stocked with fruit for us as well as a tray of goodies. There was new toiletries etc and everything we needed to cook many meals the days we were there. "We had a great night staying here In a 2 bedroom apartment overlooking Etna. The swimming pool area is lovely, the owners were very helpful and welcoming. They provided plenty of bedding and towels and bathroom toiletries. The apartment is very comfortable and well provided with air conditioning and a small terrace to sit out and look up at Etna. The pizza restaurant opposite serves great food and drinks at a very reasonable price."

"Great location and amazing views! Our hotel room had a beautiful balcony with a view of Mt. Etna! The pool area was very nice and drinks and food can be ordered while relaxing or you can go to the bar! Stepping off the elevator and having the doors open to the gorgeous ocean view as you walk through the cave is always amazing! Truly an experience! All staff is friendly and helpful! The shuttles that take you back and forth to the town of Taormina are a great feature and many options of times! Just make sure to reserve early AM your spots! "
