"I stay in a lot of corporate hotels for work. They are clean, dependable, and boring. When I travel for fun, I try to find distinct, clean, fun (and cheap) hotels. This place was a win. It is definitely very old, but it is clean and well kept. We loved having a pool and hot tub. The included breakfast was great (those tamales were fantastic) and the overall feel was a throwback to those lost days of Americana. I’d definitely stay again. "

"This is a lovely, quiet property not far from the center of town. My wife has mobility challenges, so the innkeeper directed us to an accessible spot in the rear. The owner is a savvy woman who has traveled extensively and knows about what makes a tourism driven town run. We spent most of our time taking in museums and the natural beauty of the area. Each evening though, after dinner, we retreated to the inn to sit in the common area for a cup of tea and to peruse her collection of coffee table...

"The Palacio de Marquesa had a chef that prepared a hot gourmet delicious breakfast for us. His name was Nicholas and he was very friendly as well. There were fresh cookies available all day. Our room ( casita ) was very roomy, comfortable and stylish as was the entire Inn. There was also a fridge in our room which was convenient and appreciated. The inn keeper, Pam, gave us all her cell number and encouraged us to call for anything. It was a lovely stay. We hope to return one day in the near...

"Historic property located on the Plaza. Lots of stairs and interesting areas in the hotel. Updated, but is not a new property. Gas fireplace in the room, microwave and a fridge. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Had music. Parking is behind the hotel. "

"Well it said check in deadline was 8 pm, we got there at 7:35 to find no one around. Called the number with no answer, left a message got no reply. Never got to check in. Had to go back to the last town and get a room."
