"Our stay Las Verandas was an incredible experience! My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and feel like we hit the jackpot. The property is located on a private road and away from the main tourist areas, but only a 30 minute ride to places like West End or Mohagany Bay if you’re looking for a fun night out. It was really nice to have the option to go out and socialize in town but then come back to the sounds of crashing waves and native birds. A true oasis. The property is gorgeous and well-maintained, the rooms are stunning with high-end amenities, comfortable bedding and mattresses, amazing pool options, and an awesome restaurant! But the best part of our stay was the staff. Everywhere we went on the property, staff went out of their way to check on us, speak to us, and give us recommendations for things to do on our first trip to Roatan. I can’t wait to return and actually check out these recommendations, but for this trip we were so content with the service and luxury of Las Verandas that we hardly left the property. I am already looking into booking our next stay later this year. Do not miss your chance to stay at Las Verandas! "

"The host didn’t communicate with me until last minute. The property is large, and none of the buildings were labeled. It took me a long time to understand where my building was located and the host was saying I would have to wait an hour for him to meet me there. I finally guessed which building it was and tried the code-I was happy it worked. It was on the third floor-not the first floor as advertised. When I entered the room it smelled horrible. I opened the patio to air it out.that is when I noticed that the picture on the wall was broken and hanging by a wire. Someone shoved the broken picture beside the TV. I tried to heat something in the microwave but it wouldn’t heat anything up. There was no Information sheet and therefore no WiFi. The towels were very old and worn. When I left there I received no information on how to check-out."

"The house was amazing. Very spacious and easy to get around, I am an above knee amputee and had no problem getting around with crutches. The beach is super close and has a long pier really close also. We had Juana come and cook for us daily which I highly recommend, also we had Ever taken care of all of our excursions which made everything a lot easier on us and I highly recommend also. If you're looking for quite, lad back, no crowds, and peace and quiet than this is the right place"

"I am so impress with this property. I read some reviews online and I was concerned coming in. I was gladly surprised. The resort is older but perfect for the rustic and natural experience. These are some of the best beaches in the world and the resort Couldn’t be better. I think many Americans that come down here don’t get the beauty and amazing opportunity to be in this location!!!"

"This was the perfect place for our family vacation (5 adults 2 kids). The house was great (comfortable beds, great AC, stocked kitchen), but the property and location was really the best part. Our kids loved the colorful lights that in the pool at night, and we couldn't get over seeing caribbean reef octopuses a few yards off of the beach most evenings ! the snorkeling right off the property was phenomenal too (we saw a nurse shark, sting ray, lobster, eel, and lots of fish), and the dock at the end of the road made for great splashes and potential turtle feeding sightings. The location was a close enough drive to tons of great outings, beaches, and a couple of restaurants, and Dave the property manager was phenomenal - extremely helpful, responsive, and respectful of our time."
