"I spent my 50th birthday at Puerto Azul. The staff was attentive kind and made my day very special helped. My husband surprise me several times during the day. The staff is very sweet and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable the bed and the pillows were as good as mine at home so I had a very nice rest every night and every morning woke up to the beautiful ocean outside my door. The staff arranged for flowers and a sign wishing me a happy birthday in the morning when I was at breakfast...

"This was such a peaceful place to call home during our visit to Roatan. Just a short car ride away from the busier west end/west bay area where we would visit for activities or dining. The Blue Bahia felt extremely safe and everyone was very welcoming. The kids loved the darts, ping pong, and cornhole. Plus they have kayaks to use and the food at the beach grill was some of the best we had all week. highly recommend staying here! So charming and fun. "

What I really like - across a low traffic road from the beach. it is far enough away from the action to be quite but close enough for quick walk. has a restaurant on site (never ate there) I always do breakfast at Yahongreh a must.
