"Convenient to St. Marks Square. We enjoyed having a drink on at the bar and watching the gondola's park for the evening. We also enjoyed watching them prep to depart in the AM. The hotel let us leave our bags after check-out so we could tour the Doges Palace. Breakfast was good."

"I really enjoyed staying this hotel. It's very close to main shopping stores and lots of restaurants. If you hire a private water taxi (costs around $130) you can be dropped off right in front of the hotel."

And still walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. Room was clean and pleasant. Would definitely stay again. P.s. definitely go to the breakfast buffet. It was delicious! Eggs, bacon, fruit, really great pastries, etc. Our last day, the hotel staff kindly arranged a water taxi to the train station and it picked us up right outside the hotel's canalside door! "If you will be staying in Venice for a while, I recommend that you split your hotel stays and try a couple of days on Lido. The beach and pool is wonderful and the Hotel does run a shuttle to San Marco and to Murano if you'd like to go back into Venice proper. Lovely large rooms and bath. Meals are pricy, so plan accordingly. "
