"The check in is strictly 2 pm. No earlier than that. The farm is so cute with friendly animals that are well taken care of. The restaurant is delicious, gourmet food at reasonable prices. The staff is very nice and accommodating all throughout the hotel. The room is comfortable, rustic and the fire place is a most at night time because it gets chilly. During the day the weather is warm. Is a great place to relax. "

"The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous. My partner and I really loved the tub. The shower was very nice, good water pressure and never ran out of hot water filling the giant tub and taking hot showers. It was a very unique property which was beautiful to walk around and interact with the dogs and other animals on the property. "

"Stayed for two nights. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The lodge is situated close to the river which is good for swimming and has it's own forest reserve. We did two very enjoyable guided walks on the reserve with local guides who were extremely knowledgeable. We stayed in the family room which was rather rustic but plenty big enough for a family of four. The main frustration was the cold shower which didn't get fixed despite reporting on the first day. Breakfast was good, dinner is an optional buffet and is not worth it. "

"I loved this place. Definitely an authentic, beautiful, relaxing place to stay. The beds and linens are the comfiest I have ever had at a hotel, and I had an excellent night sleep both nights. The architecture and design of the building is just stunning. We have a large room with three beds and it was perfect for our family. Very close to Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Starbucks Farm. The breakfast that is included in the stay is superb. We also had dinner and it was quite nice as well. I would happily stay here again. "

"We were unfortunately only there for one night but the property and the staff were delightful and even brought us boxed breakfasts at 3 AM before an early flight out. The property is remarkable with several pools, trails, and views. Worth the price of admission for that alone, but the staff knows what they are doing."
