"This is a uniquely beautiful hotel and very eco-friendly. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Outside of the burger (somewhat cold /underdone) the food was very good albeit pricey. We would return in a heartbeat if we could and wished we had a longer stay"

"The huge botanical garden attached to the property was gorgeous and a lovely space to walk in. The lobby and dining room is beautifully decorated, with an incredible display of local rocks and minerals. The hotel ad implied our room would have handrails in the bathroom, but it did not. "

"We had a great honeymoon at Xandari! The grounds were absolutely breathtaking, and really easy to maneuver around. We wish we would've taken advantage of the spa during our stay, hut we didn't have time. Only issues we had were that our power went out a couple times when it rained and one night we had to wait till the next day for it to come back on. Other than that, everything was beautiful and an exciting way to experience Costa Rica for the first time!"

"Very nice hotel that is centrally located. We walked everywhere during the day. Close to central market, central avenue, museums, parks, and restaurants. We did not walk around after dark due to safety concerns, but really enjoyed the happy hour at the hotel. Oscar makes some great drinks. The strawberry daiquiris, margaritas, and mojitos are delicious. We also appreciated the daily breakfast. It is very good. All of the hotel staff are very kind and helpful.
