"Overall excellent. Only (minor) problem was that the first night was pretty cold, and there was no heat in the room. The second night the host provided a ceramic electric heater and that made the cabin very cosy."

"Lovely property with responsive hosts. The bungalow properties are uniquely whimsical and private. Perfect location outside of the hustle & bustle of Dominical, but a 20 minute drive away. Grocer & restaurants even closer. No A/C but decent fans available. It’s cooler in the evenings “up the hill” from Dominical. "

"Our stay at Vista Paraiso Lodge for New Year's was amazing. The view is super fantastic especially the sunet and the whole place is beautiful since sunrise, many birds singing. "At first the initial drive seemed very long, it is like 8 miles total, approx, but after driving it 12 times it got better/easier. And being so remote there are mucho other homes up there. Beautiful views to the oceanon the south, to the north, waterfalls and mountains."

"El lugar estaba abandonado, no se limpia , en el cuarto de baño había panes de jabón viejo en el piso y del tubo de lavareis el agua salía con tierra , signo de que nunca lonhan usado para lavar el baño. Estaba lleno de telarañas y había cucarachas . NO dormimos en toda la noche , pues la sábanas olían a polvo , en fin fue una experiencia memorablemente trágica,"

"Al contanctar al anfitrión para pedirle la dirección y demás indicaciones para el uso de la cabaña, él no tenía ni idea de que habíamos reservado, cuando ya hasta se me había generado el cargo a la tarjeta de crédito!!! "Sitting out on the balcony overlooking the valley, listening to and looking at the incredible variety of birds… Beautiful place very friendly and helpful. Renters good proximity to the different things we wanted to do. Wonderful place. Earplugs made any noise from dogs or roosters or the street disappear without a problem. Very kind neighbors. Would definitely recommend.!!"

"Outstanding property with wonderful hiking trails near by. Cute quiet town. The road down to the cabin is steep and unpaved but we managed in a 2wd vehicle. Wifi/Service was out but there is so much to do it didnt bother us one bit. 10/10 would stay again."

"I stayed a couple of nights with friends, we only wanted a place to talk, play board games, cook some food and relax. This property was perfect for all that, with plenty of sitting areas. The bathroom was very nice, with plenty of space for large groups. The property was very clean and with a nice view. The only 2 things I will recommend the host to update are the couches (maybe a deep clean), they look dirty. The second thing is the futon (this was the 3rd bed), I slept there and it was not...

"From the picture, the property is actually smaller, there is no bbq grill so cooking becomes a problem if you want to cook meet. The running water was turned on hours after we arrived, and no Hot water at all. Makes taking a shower on rainy days a drag. Not enough pillows or the proper kitchen utensils. And trash was not picked enough, because I was told to put it under the house when full, so wild stray dogs would tear into the bags and drag trash all over yard. They need to get lidded trash...

"This property is an oasis. There was fruit growing everywhere. The differences of plants and trees is like nothing we saw while in Costa Rica. Very memorable and our host was very helpful throughout the whole time we were there. FYI when they say you need 4x4 there are not joking around. We had a rental that had 4x4 and the road still made my stomach drop. Worth it if you can get to it."
