"Hotel was clean and cozy, and the restaurant downstairs was phenomenal! The stay came with breakfast included and it was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had!"
"The property feels safer than any I’ve been it.
The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three."
"Great staff, good food, comfortable rooms, a bit run-down, like the whole area of La Mariscal. However, it is lively and safe outside in the night. Hopefully the whole area of the Mariscal is coming back. "
"Fernando and Gustavo were amazing hosts, not only did we get a warm welcome, they shared city tips, recommendations, history and traditional food places. By far they exceeded our expectations. "

"Amazing hotel, James was extremely helpful, breakfast was nice, typical of all the hotels I used in Ecuador. Location to Old Town was excellent and only a $15 cab from historic equatorial line (mitad del Mundo)
Only point I'd make is for some the hotel may feel cold although there is a tower heater in the bedroom which worked well. "
