The Mirage Inn and Suite was a perfect location for our visit to the San Francisco Zoo. Our King room was perfect, with our view looking toward the zoo. The room and bathroom were immaculate and appeared to be newly remodeled. They staff were friendly and attentive.

I love staying here! As a solo female traveler who travels to San Francisco monthly to teach a class, I feel safe, enjoy the friendly owners, and love the price point. My room is always spotless I can walk barefoot and not worry. Across the street from the zoo, walkable to the ocean, and the best Pizza and Java Beach Cafe are next door! Life is great and affordable at Mirage Inn. After 14 trips here— this is my go to affordable most bang for your buck stay! Not a party hotel, it’s always quiet overnight and very safe.

Hotel manager is horrible. He gave us a room that smelled like cigarettes. When I asked to change rooms, first said he had no others. Then said we would have to pay cleaning fee to change rooms. I argued with him, and he kicked me out of hotel. This hotel is not recommended for anyone.

The hotel was convenient for places where we wanted to visit: the zoo and Golden Gate park. We were there on a clear day (no fog or windy) and enjoyed a stroll on Ocean Beach too. I was there with my elementary aged kid and felt secure at hotel and surrounding area. The rooms are newly renovated and parking was free and convenient.

The apartment was very dirty, the floor was dirty, the refrigerator was dirty, there was hair in the bathtub, the sheets smelled bad, the towels had stains, the apartment was cleaned every 2 days, the trash was not picked up, terrible
