I am a hotel snob- but just was visiting San Fran for a night and going to Alcatraz with my 15 yr old son so didn’t want to spend too much money on a room. I got a great rate at Casa -I was pleasantly surprised at every aspect of the hotel. Very nice and worth the money for sure. I felt safe and the hotel felt new and fresh to me! Perfect place to come with children and a family! Money well spent!

Great location. Close to pier and hop on off stop. Overall nice hotel but lacked basic amenities off the bat. Had to ask for them. Breakfast information not consistent was told we pay and then told only available to special guests. Waits for check in and bar long. Would have expected more for price we paid, destination fee too high.

Hotel Caza was great! Hotel staff was very helpful at check in and had great recommendations for things to do/eat. Definitely purchase parking as there are signs everywhere that car break ins occur frequently.

After scouring reviews for a good place to stay on Fisherman's Wharf, we decided on Hotel Caza and are so glad we did. We stayed four nights and have only positive things to report. Upon arrival, Vanessa checked us in. She shared a map and pointed out local attractions, dining, and transportation options. We really appreciated her tip on how to get the cheapest bus and trolley tickets. The transportation options were numerous and so conveniently close. Our room was very clean and cleaned daily to perfection. We loved our partial bay room that looked right over the Fisherman’s Wharf area and over the water to Alcatraz. Three elevators ensured we always got to our room quickly and we loved the quiet halls and rooms. If you are looking for a great place to stay that is clean, has great service, and is central to all the tourist destinations, this is the place for you.

Our bedroom was on the ground floor and faced a major street with dumpsters. Lots of homeless hung out at the dumpster at night and were screaming and slamming dumpster lids.
