The village around is also quite lively and not deserted if this is what you fear. We loved our stay in Annas holiday apartment a lot and would come back for sure if we visit Lago Maggiore again."

"Pros: Das schmucke und sehr saubere Häuschen entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Es ist sehr schön gelegen in einem kleinen Ortsteil von San Bernardino, nur wenige Kilometer oberhalb des Sees. Von hier aus erreicht man zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit. Sollte man mit Hund reisen empfiehlt sich ein Besuch des Hundestrandes am Lago di Mergozzo, nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Das absolute Highlight waren jedoch die tollen Gastgeber. "The Apartment itself was very nice. We like being in the "real" neighborhoods instead of touristy areas. But, what was not mentioned, is due to a water shortage. The community turns off the water to the village at night!"
