"This townhouse is exactly as described. The location is superb--a very short distance to Quay-side restaurants and shops and also close to food markets, but very quiet! Rooms are comfortable and lots of space. There are 3 floors and stairs, so need to be comfortable with that. All the basic amenities, but no frills. Would be helpful to have more instructions on appliances for those of us from out of country. We would definitely stay here again--excellent place!"

The facilities were great and the listing doesn’t do it justice, all of us who stayed had nothing but positive things to say about the accommodation which was thoughtfully decorated throughout. It was a shame the weather wasn’t on our side the whole time so we could make use of the great outdoor space however we were so lucky with the inside space that it didn’t affect the weekend. Lots of lovely local walks - including to the coastal path, and information left at the property to help you find local places to visit. "We were looking for somewhere really quiet to spend time after Christmas and this really fitted the bill. Weather was terrible so we didn't make the most of the close proximity of Exmoor and the Quantocks, but the cottage is cosy and very well equipped, so we had a great rest in a lovely setting. The yard setting may not be to everyone's taste but it brought clear memories of my childhood farmyard! My husband (in his eighties) found walking on the cobbles a bit difficult. Our only comments would be that: - visitors considering this property should be made aware that the stairs are relatively narrow and steep. This means that transferring luggage is not easy, especially for more elderly guests, and they are potentially dangerous for guests on the top floor who need to visit the bathroom on the middle floor in the middle of the night. "This spacious converted barn was perfect for our stay. Larger than it looks in the photos. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The hosts provided tea, milk and coffee supplies upon approval which was appreciated before going to a bigger shop at the nearby grocery store. There was also salt and pepper. "The property is spacious and very bright. The kitchen is well equipped, large and very functional. The two living rooms are very comfortable with one having access to a patio with lovely views and the other with a cosy fireplace. The bedrooms are very comfortable and again very bright with views across the countryside and garden. The garden is absolutely lovely with the ponds and stream running through the it.
