"Such a lovely property, in a beautiful building, beautiful area, and beautifully decorated. The rooms were spotless and tidy and the beds, comfortable. We can't recommend this property enough. The only slight sadness is that the bathrooms are so small (can't be helped) and the main room doesn't serve breakfast. While it is offered in bedrooms, the common room on the ground floor is beautiful and larger, with the perfect table to invite people to greet one another and build community. "

"It has no restuarant or bar meals and nearest pub/eatery is miles away. Rooms are clean and recently painted but otherwise tired. Plumbing is a bit suspect."

Bridget, Bas and all the other staff we met were charming, friendly and accommodating, including agreeing to bring forward our stay at almost no notice even though we had a fixed, non-refundable booking through hotels.com. "Our stay was amazing. Judith , Julian and family were above and beyond. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou"

"Perfect place to stay for a young family and dog! Great size rooms, safe and secure garden, and everything you could need for a short break. Lots of lovely local walks - including to the coastal path, and information left at the property to help you find local places to visit. The owners of the property were very helpful and considerate and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back!"
