"Our room had a small terrace overlooking a canal. Room was a decent size and the bathroom was a nice size. Shower size was bigger than other hotels in Italy. The breakfast options were great and the staff was helpful. Just so you are aware you will need to take the public water taxi to get to the hotel from the train station. Very close to St. Mark’s Square. Easy walk after you get off the water taxi. A lot of luxury shops on the way to the hotel. The hotel offered a complimentary trip to the Murano glass factory. Very interesting in the factory how they make the glass but a big sell when you go into the showroom which is right off the factory. Very expensive items."

"Front desk personnel very friendly & helpful—no matter day or night. Good breakfast each morning that was included in our fee & tea each day from 4-6 pm was a nice perk. Was able to book water taxi from Marco Polo airport to the hotel, as well as water taxi to the train station through the hotel’s concierge. Would definitely recommend the Montecarlo Hotel. Location good for shopping & restaurants. "

"We had an amazing time at this hotel. So close to the Rialto Bridge maybe 2 mins walk, and also the water taxis, which meant that we could easily get to the train station when we left the hotel will 3 cases. Breakfast was good, and staff very helpful (great coffee). Highly recommend and we will be back as this was our first trip to Venice. Loved every minute and we would only book here. Thanks for a great trip"

"Location was wonderful!! The only negative was it an EXTREMELY SMALL room and bathroom. Full bed, which was a surprise to us. But overall great place! Free breakfast"
