"We stayed at Old Nursery Farm for my dad’s 70th birthday weekend. There were 6 adults, 2 children (7&11) and 2 dogs. It was absolutely perfect! There is so much space, the house had everything we needed and more and the facilities added to the memory making! The sun shon which allowed us to take full advantage of the pool and outdoor kitchen and the boys loved playing with ALL the games!! "Tack House provided the perfect location for exploring North Norfolk. We were two couples and a spaniel and the house met all our needs. We had mixed weather and the private garden with its covered barn was brilliant for our dog. Our host was very welcoming providing a more than generous hamper and treats for the dog. "Marlpit Cottage is cosy and comfortable, with the log burner being a bonus. However there were several points which spoilt the stay for us.The biggest disappointment was the garden which was enclosed as advertised but was not secure. With two working cockers, it was totally unsuitable for us as the dogs both discovered numerous gaps in the hedging so we could not enjoy time just relaxing in the garden with the dogs being loose. "Adequate accommodation as described. Comfortable beds. What would have improved our comfort? Freezer compartment therefore no ice cubes! Washing machine would have been useful for a weeks stay. Parasol or sun shade over terrace. Lacked a few essentials that would have made it more welcoming, first impressions. However, we had a lovely holiday in this great village.?"
