"Alison is the consummate host. She is friendly, very knowledgeable and goes out of her way to accommodate requests. We had the small double which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and cooked freshly to order. A very enjoyable stay"

"We had a lovely one night stay in the cottage. Great for self catering and enjoyed having stables outside where we could see the horses. Lots of space and a nice log fire to enjoy. The breakfast was delivered to the cottage at our chosen time and was really tasty. "

"What an amazing house this is, with it's original and quirky features it is a place that could be truly amazingThe owner was very nice, friendly and attentiveHowever, the cleanliness e.g. dusting and hoovering need to be much betterThere was also issues with damp and mould in some areas which would be easily fixed with additional ventilationThe main issue for me though was the security, unfortunately the back door in to the utility room did not shut and or lock at all, having kids with us this...
