Crabapple Cottage retains much of its original charm and character offering guests home-from-home comforts with the opportunity to relax, unwind and make the most of their time away.
Set in a peaceful courtyard just off the main street of Hinderwell , Crabapple Cottage is perfectly located between the villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay. Both can be accessed by a beautiful coastal walk (approx 1.5miles) or by a short car or bus journey. A little further are the east coast destinations of Sandsend, Whitby and Saltburn.
Crabapple Cottage is a perfect base for couples, friends or families to enjoy time together with great local facilities on the doorstep.
Entering the cottage directly into the lounge area you will find comfortable seating, a dining table, wood burning stove and smart TV. The kitchen has everything you need to make you and your party feel at home - dishwasher, wine fridge, fridge freezer, microwave, cooker & coffee machine with direct access to the secure garden. In the outside areas you will find all you need to make the most of the sunny weather.... bbq, outdoor seating and a large 'springfree' trampoline. There is also outside hot and cold taps to wash off any muddy four legged friends after a days adventuring.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms. The larger has a king size bed which can also be split into two twins and the smaller room offers full size bunk beds. There is a sofa bed in the lounge if an extra bed is required.
Look how other guests have described their stay;
'Fantastic location for visiting some real gems. Brilliant cottage and garden, the trampoline was a real bonus to tire the kids out when we needed some time to switch off. Recommend staying here as I would book again without hesitation.'
' A perfectly situated cosy cottage. Very easy access to the Cleveland Way and also on a reliable and regular bus route which runs between the villages. You don’t really need to use a car once you arrive. The cottage itself is in a peaceful location and we didn’t hear any noise at all. The garden is enclosed and quite long with a large trampoline at the top. Everything is good quality with all you need to self cater. Having said that there are two pubs and a good fish and chip shop a couple of minutes walk away. The village butcher sells bread, milk, newspapers and many other provisions. The cottage is very clean and has an efficient wood burning stove to compliment the central heating. The online description is accurate and Jane communicates well. Highly recommended and we hope to return when we walk another section of the Cleveland Way.'
We hope to welcome you to Crabapple Cottage.
