"Hotel was in the perfect location, and was really lovely. The room we had was on the top floor and a paid a extra £10 a night for a bigger room instead of the cosy room. I highly recommend getting a standard over the small. We had Aircon which was a thankful thing to see as it was boiling. The only down side was the aircon kept going cold to hot. Overall it was lovely and really good value. I would come back."

"From our welcome to departure, the staff were very happy to help us enjoy our stay. Great location for our visit to the theatre and also five minutes from shopping centre. Though a grade 1 historic building, the facilities and rooms are beautifully presented and comfortable. Another advantage was the close location to the rail and bus stations and also the availability of parking albeit at a cost. Thoroughly recommend this hotel when visiting Bath."

"I like staying here a few times a year. The staff are fantastic, they are great about storing luggage, there is a pool, it is near a number of places to eat, I always sleep well here. Great beds, big lovely bath tubs, and good tea options. I will always return here. "

"Definately NOT a 5 star hotel. Rooms in massive need of updating, and the spa also. The Spa when we went was very messy, paper cups and peoples slippers/robes on floor scattered about. Looks like in need to some TLC. Visited Bath many a time and far nicer places to stay in my opinion, especially for the price. Building is beautiful, breakfast was as expected, check in fine, staff lovely, location ok 10 min walk into centre - just desperately needs some updating. "

"Amazing stay and breakfast was fantastic (it’s a menu and full English is an option on there). The proximity to all the shops near by is fantastic. The only improvement I would provide is the pillows were lumpy."
