"Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The only thing we didn't like are the beds are a little hard but it was the same at the previous place we stayed. We made do. Also tile floors are always cold which I'm not fond of but...

"The condo was very neat and clean and had everything we could need. There was even a welcome gift that was much-appreciated to help us get settled. The complex was lovely and very well-maintained, and was within walking distance to local activities and incredible beaches and boardwalks. Our host was very friendly and accessible. We would definitely recommend it!"

"This apartment was perfect for my wife and I. It was exactly as advertised. Location was ideal for walking to the Old Town, the Marina, the Beach and Pingo Doce. The south facing patio overlooking the green space was a highlight. My wife enjoyed the bathtub and the shower was great. Karel and Estela were very accommodating hosts. Hope to return."

"We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet, laid back beach town Luz. Praia de luz was a very short walk away from the apartment and ended up becoming one of our favourite beaches in the Algarve. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well equipped for our stay. An excellent option close to Lagos but outside the tourist area. "

"Nice big apartment, had an issue with key code but owner answered are call for help efficiently. Beautiful views from apartment and quiet inside. Pool area ok, inside pool and sauna unavailable- but we’re told this after booking, so was expected. Good facilities in apartment but some extra loo rolls and some bin bags would have been appreciated. We would however happily stay again and recommend."

"Very good location with short walk to old town and short walk to excellent beach and boardwalk trails. Host is obviously a coffee lover because there were numerous different espresso, cappuccino, coffee cups with an excellent espresso maker which we loved using in the mornings. Lots of space to relax in between our adventures. I would highly recommend this VRBO to anybody going to Lagos."

"This rental is located in a what seems to be an old hotel. When you walk onto the property there is an abandoned pool to the right. The interior of the building is old and poorly lit. The aparetment we stayed in needs some love. While it was clean and got us through our stay i won't be recommending it to people i know. There was coffee and tea for your morning enjoyment but that is as far as comfort you will get. We couldn't figure out how to work the tv so we were stuck with youtube. No...

"We spent most of our time and ate most of our meals on the beautiful deck space. The home was a nice little seaside getaway. The beach was nearby and stunning. The apartment complex and beach were very quiet on weekdays and got a bit more activity on the weekend."

Not entirely sure what makes a Premium room premium, don't even provide tea or coffee with the kettle. Overall excellent for what I was looking for."
