A beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in historic Lagos. The apartment has everything you need including WIFI, UKTV and DVD, air-conditioning, dishwasher, lift, underground car parking to keep your car cool during the hot days and a family friendly pool. You can relax on the spacious balcony, which is accessible from all rooms, while enjoying music from the all-room sound system. Security in the building is high with the main entrance door having a security code and the flat a video entry.

We find the apartment very handy for the unique shops and great bars, both traditional and trendy. Restaurants are a highlight of a holiday in Lagos as they are varied, plentiful and good value. You can easily walk to the bustling marina and sandy beaches while four fantastic golf courses are a short drive away.

While you will want to explore for yourself the maze of streets that constitute the old town we are happy to share our recommendations for food, drinks and day trips. The apartment has an extensive guide which includes information on nearby beaches, golf courses, cultural outings, Lagos Zoo and Slide and Splash as well as our views on restaurants we return to each year.

Pit stop in Lagos

We spent 3 nights in this spacious, airy apartment. It is an easy 15 minute walk in to town, and there is an Aldi literally next door. Kids made good use of the communal pool, which is well maintained. Underground parking space was a bonus as we had a hire car. Lagos is a great place to visit.

The apartment is large, clean and well-equipped. The pool is wonderful. Probably best for a family with children as the apartment is a little far from the old town.

Great Home Base

Spacious and clean

The space was huge and clean included a very large balcony. We had a car and parking secure and indoor. All amenities one could need. Recommend as great vale for price.

Well appointed

This large, bright, well appointed apartment is well located. We were able to walk everywhere. 4 grocery stores within a 10 minute walk. Laundry in the apartment was a bonus. The kitchen allowed us to cook many of our meals. Our contact person was easy to reach and responded quickly.

Fantastic apartment and pool!

We have had a super two week holiday in Lagos, Portugal staying in this first class apartment. Very clean and well furnished, it met all our needs. The facilities within the apartment are great. Aldi supermarket is right next door and other supermarkets are within easy walking distance. We found some very good restaurants within easy walking distance of the apartment. Our three boys loved the pool, which was a good size and well maintained. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Excellent Apartment very tastefully furnished

Excellent spacious apartment with a large balcony and interior finished to a high spec. Aldi supermarket next door very usefull. Sun beds supplied by apartment excellent and lovely pool area surrounded with palm trees. Really enjoyed our stay. Only downside, although tv has lots of channels including sport the signal from Wi-Fi box does breakdown a lot. But I would book this lovely apartment again.

Second Stay

Second stay and just as good as the first one in 2014. The apartment had not changed and continues to be a good choice in a quiet area, close to major supermarkets and a 20 min minute walk into Lagos or the marina. Car hire would be beneficial to visit the surrounding towns. First class service from Steve from the letting agency when the tv went down. We love staying in Lagos and can highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Wonderful Apartment

This is a wonderful well laid out 1st floor apartment and only a short walk (15 minutes) for the old town of Lagos, marina and beautiful beaches. The apartment is spacious and very well maintained with good quality bathrooms and a very well appointed kitchen. The balcony area captures the early afternoon / evening sun and is ideal for dining and sunbathing. There is a (discreet) reasonably sized supermarket (ALDI ) next to the apartment. I very much look forward to returning to this apartment again soon.

Disabled friendly holiday

We found the apartment spacious which was ideal as one of our party uses a mobility scooter. The apartment was ideal for those with reduced mobility as there is a lift and no steps to pool area. The shower has one step in which was manageable for us. The agent and owner were always quick to respond to queries. Lagos was only a 20 minute walk away where there are an abundance of restaurants for all budgets. Would recommend.

Lovely apartment

Lovely roomy apartment with a large balcony, the pool area was fantastic and my grandson spent most of his time there, Aldi and other supermarkets close by, the apartment was clean with fresh bedding and towels the reason I have only given 4 stars is the oven is in need of a clean so we didnt use it

Five adults stayed at this lovely apartment in Lagos. Our first impressions were how clean the apartment was, absolutely spotless. The location was great too, only been a steady 15 minute walk into Lagos. The apartment had everything we needed, with all the traditional British channels, and the bonus of having Sky Sports. Beautiful stylish apartment

The first floor apartment is even better than it looks in the photos. It is extremely spacious and very well furnished, with gorgeously comfortable beds, and beautiful fixtures, fittings and equipment. You can relax on the sun filled balcony or go down to the pool area. The secure underground parking is an additional bonus. There's wifi, air conditioning and uk tv, and Aldi next door, so everything you might want is available. It's a good walk down to Lagos Old Town, where you'll find dozens of lovely restaurants leading to a fabulous marina. We generally walked down and then got a taxi back for around 4 Euros. Out of high season the rental rates are extremely competitive, and you get a lot for your money. This part of the Algarve is beautiful with gorgeous beaches and coves within easy reach. All in all a great holiday.

This property is a complete scam. Room was as advertised, Property was to have a golf course and water park on site there were neither not even within walking distance. We booked this property in particular above others because of the on-site golf course and water park. It is a complete lie. The owners advertisement for their property on Expedia CLEARLY states that both the golf and waterpark were on site. I addressed this with the owner immediately and again, the next day they refused to respond.

Apartment on the edge if town

Spacious 2 bed-2 bath apt. with everything you need except beach towels & shower gel. We got permission to use the 2 towels that were there but are supposedly off limits. Balcony overlooks the pool, spare lot, road & BricoMarche store. It’s a 20-25 min walk to the marina/central old town. Driving directions & check-in were confusing. Finding the parking garage wasn’t easy. Collette had to guide us on the phone. The apt. is next to the Aldi grocery store. Use that landmark to find the place easier. Pool was cold but lovely. Hauling the locked-up pool chairs to & from the garage was unpleasant. Barking dog on the same floor. Master bath had black hair on floor & sink + dirty toilet.

almost missed it.

It was a good thing the apartment was great because the check in was really nottttttt. Directions could have been many different apartments ( our cab driver finally after a half hour and our insistence left us somewhere in the area) We could not contact host and I don't think we ever heard from them. We did have some contact with VRBO, thank you. And a lot of wandering with two big bags. We loved the apartment location and the apartment itself was great. We also informed (by voice message) someone that the patio door did not lock. Never heard from anyone. Good thing we felt safe and comfortable at the location. All in all If we had better communication with someone (and now that I know where it's at) I'd differently return.

Cabin class unit, poor location

We sometimes travel “cabin class’ (economy) and sometimes first or business class. This rental is definitely cabin class. The unit was very hard to find in the dark although the owner was quick to respond to an email seeking help. The location is poor. There are no restaurants or coffee shops within walking distance and the neighbourhood is businesslike and unattractive. My partner was distressed that there was no extra toilet paper rolls should we run out (we didn’t). There is no microwave. There was a liquid soap dispenser on the sink in the master bedroom but it was empty - I.e. no soap. Access to the garage requires a turn marked “do not turn.” There is only one key although the unit could accommodate two couples. Etc. etc.

Spacious apartment

Very spacious apartment with most things that are needed. There was no safe which would have been good and we couldn’t find the advertised smoke alarm. The TV had all of the channels you could possibly want but it was very temperamental (that is being nice). The box had to be rebooted every time the TV was switched on, every time you wanted to change channel and when it lost the signal. The instructions for accessing the garage were unclear (access is actually at the rear of the building). The refrigerator had glass shelves missing which we informed the property owner of only to be told she was aware of it and new shelves were on order. If a family of four had rented the apartment there would have been a distinct lack of bowls for breakfast and/or dessert.

A lazy time in Lagos

Having enjoyed many holidays in rural France with their basic amenities this felt like a hotel suite rather than a holiday home. However, we soon adapted to the life style. The facilities were perfect for having a relaxing break and we quickly fell into a 'lazy' routine - breakfast, shopping, lunch, swim, siesta, walk, dinner. Having Aldi's nearby meant we did not have to carry bottles of water far but we preferred the Portuguese supermarket nearer town, especially its range of cakes. The old town with its many shops and restaurants means that you can have a great choice of eating venues and we have no complaints about our choices. Although we had a hired car we only used it twice during the holiday - to go to Luz (it was too hot to use the cliff top walk) and to Sagres - well worth a visit to the Fort and Lighthouse (the equivalent of Land's end). We also took a boat trip to see the dolphins - which we did. Much better than last year on the Moray Firth where we saw none in a fortnight. After a fortnight of sunshine we left very reluctantly. Wow! What a fantastic apartment. It is the first time we have hired an apartment that looked exactly as the photos suggested. We loved everything about it and found it a very relaxing place to stay. We love walking so did not mind the walk into town or the marina. The fixtures, fittings and décor are first class. The pool area very quiet and peaceful. Having three supermarkets within walking distance is a bonus and you are spoilt for choice. We didn't cook but if you wanted to, you would find everything you needed in the kitchen. The main beach of Meia Praia is one of the best and Lagos old town is full of inviting restaurants and small shops. We had a hire car and although we have been before, we enjoyed visiting Burgau, Praia del Luz and Alvor. The apartment was clean and ready when we arrived around lunch time and the service provided by the management company (Steve) was exceptional. The iron was broken and a new one replaced immediately as well as a light bulb in the main bathroom. No problem finding the apartment and gaining entry from the information supplied. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and the service provided by the owner was helpful and professional.
