"Good location, very near to the Basel airport. The hotel is an old beautiful house converted to a hotel, giving a beautiful and old appearance. However we were disappointed with the food in the restaurant which was very expensive and not great taste so would recommend to avoid."

Although the instructions for locating the shuttle pick-up point were clear and helpful, upon reaching "Parking Express," there were no signs indicating the transfer. "Stayed here many times as gives a reasonably priced option for Basel. Tram stop less than 5 mins walk away which takes you into central Basel in 10 mins. Hotel itself is fabulous. I’ll stay again. "

"I had a terrible experience with Villa 12 Guesthouse. I traveled a long way from US to Swiss (Villa 12 is on the border between Swiss and France), and had to work on the arriving day, so I got at the Villa 12 Guesthouse around 8:30pm, that is very normal time for a hotel/Guesthouse check-in time. But to my surprise, the main Gate of the Villa 12 is tightly closed, and the guesthouse building looks dark, did not seem there were people living in it. I pushed the door bell for over 10 minutes and...

"Overnight due to late flight arrival time restricting onward travel. Walked to hotel from airport although had to use torch for last few yards due darkness. Staff helpful, room as expected. No complaints."
