"Il Malaspina — Clean, Comfortable, but Rooms Are Too Small Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Il Malaspina. The hotel is modern, very clean, and offers friendly, attentive service. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless and well maintained, and everything felt fresh and welcoming. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay, with a great variety of delicious options, nicely presented and served in a clean, pleasant environment. My main concern was the size of the rooms....

"Awesome stay"

"Lovely historic hotel. Comfortable room. Located near everything but out of the main fray. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. I would stay here again."

"The property was incredible. Very comfortable beds, very large living areas, amenities were readily available with cleaning service daily. Great hosts who were great at communicating, offered suggestions, and allowed for luggage storage even after check out. Prime location next to the David (can be slightly louder from the street in the morning on that one side, but not too bothersome). Overall an excellent stay!"

"It’s hard to believe this hotel is rated only 3 stars! Considering the spacious rooms, modern furniture, renovated floors, spotless rooms, and, most importantly, the helpful and welcoming staff, I would easily rate it as a 4-star hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Special thanks to Edouardo, whose restaurant recommendations were excellent and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Florence!"

They never mentioned about construction at all times even when we called them 2-3 times before arrival. Two, the...

"Positive - walking distance and central to everything we wanted to see in Florence, including close to the train station. Our room was spacious, we had 2 floors, with the main bedroom downstairs and our children slept upstairs. Staff were polite, helpful and courteous. Excellent breakfast included in our stay at a stunning restaurant close to the apartment. Negative - Cleaning of the room everyday was not included during our stay (surcharge) Not enough storage/shelving for our clothes/...
