"My friend and I booked Le Château du Faubourg for our recent trip to Quebec City. We chose it for the incredible (over the top) décor, the convenience of the location and the reasonable price. We were not disappointed! The breakfasts were excellent and the many shops and restaurants near the B&B were great. We especially enjoyed a creperie literally one block away. "Sophie was a perfect host and went out of her way to be accommodating. (She even allowed us to charge our electric car in her garage). The bedroom and bathroom are very large and comfortable, suitable for an extended stay. The Widor is within walking distance of Old Quebec City and in a safe residential neighborhood. "Best B&B on Ile d’Orleans! Owned by a super hospitable family. I met the father and the daughter and they are very friendly. The decor is unique, the breakfast is authentic, with a nice river view. "Did not like: nobody to welcome you. No signs to indicate the inn (we arrived around 8:30 PM and it was night). Nobody answered at the front door. I then phoned and somebody guided me, but I never saw him. Entered the inn using the back door. Found another guest and his wife who were looking for their rooms, and like me and my wife, were confused. Indications for the wireless: a small, very small piece of paper on the kitchen door.
