"Wonderful host who was happy to give us tips for excursions and other interesting information. Breakfast with homemade bread, jam, fruit smoothie and fresh crepes as well as homemade cakes every day. Rooms on two floors, fully cosy and stylishly furnished. Quiet place, perfectly located for visiting the countless Loire castles. We would love to come back!"

"Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."

"The hosts were very welcoming and helpful with information places to visit etc. excellent parking adjacent to room . The property very clean well decorated and traditional French . Great location for base to visit places such as Amboise and tours highly recommend this B&B will certainly return if back visiting this area . We stayed for three nights."

"The property is one of a kind with its natural caves. Christophe the host along with his dog and cat make you feel welcome upon arrival. The property is truly remarkable albeit slightly humid as it is a natural cave. With a swimming pool surrounded by natural rock and rooms that are one of a kind, it is worth staying at Le Clos de l'Hermitage."

Chambre et sdb très propre et moderne. Très bien placé pour visiter les lieux de la région. (Malgré un site de réservation malhonnête, les hôtes nous ont tout de même très bien reçus !!)"
