"Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

I had to contact local Marie to obtain his phone number to point out he hadn't sent us any info on where the cottage was. Even then the inadequate info sent us the day before we left for France sent us to the wrong "WHITE GATES" (not even visible from road). No welcome pack, just a note in kitchen warning us of £250 Euro fine if we didn't do the washing up on...

"On a main road but set well back so nice and quiet for sleeping. Good sized bathroom and kitchen with quality appliances, fast wifi, comfortable bed, pleasant patio.The only item that we might have liked is a more ergonomic living room couch but that's a very minor issue. Denis is most welcoming host, we especially appreciated the coffee and other break items he provided."

"As a family we stayed at the end of August. The property was easily the best rental cottage we have ever stayed in. Very roomy and fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality. "I stayed at Franck's property with my girlfriend and her parents. We had an absolutely amazing time, the location is unbeatable, a short walk to everything Amboise has to offer. The view is perfect, and the beds were comfortable. Franck was great and made us feel very welcome, we will absolutely be returning! :)"
