"Staff were super friendly and kind. Pool is big and awesome. Location is right in the heart of Guiones so not quiet but very convenient. Mati at the juice/coffee bar is super cool, a great surf instructor, and has great insight into the area. Expectations exceeded."

"For the money, ESH is a great deal. Very upscale, quiet, and the entire staff will accommodate every need or request at all times. It’s not on the coast, but rather up the hill about 5 minutes from town and the beach. Town is a happening place whereas ESH is simply peaceful. Best of both worlds. "

"The unfortunate part is the property actually has a lot of potential. The location is fantastic and the property manager was very responsive throughout our stay. Unfortunately the house itself is in serious need of attention.The home needs a very deep clean. The mattresses should be replaced, the sheets feel extremely rough, and the blankets are worn out. Several of the refrigerator shelves were already cracked and had been glued back together, and they broke again during our stay. There is no dishwasher, and the random mismatched silverware feels like it was pieced together from leftovers rather than set up for guests.The pool area itself is great and the shade structure is a nice feature, but the pool was consistently filthy. The pool service only came once during our week stay. We ended up cleaning the pool and deck two to three times a day just to make it usable. It also seems like there may not be a functioning filter because the water stayed very cloudy the entire time.Inside, the main level has concrete floors that are heavily stained and did not appear clean. The couch is very old, very dirty, and the pillows are badly stained.Again, the location is excellent and the property manager was quick to respond, but the house clearly suffers from deferred maintenance. With some basic investment and proper upkeep this could be a great rental, but in its current condition I would not recommend staying here."

"The beaches were unobstructed, the room was very clean, the bathroom and shower were excellent. The views are on unbeatable. The location being close to two beaches was excellent. The morning breakfast was very good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no exercise room, which would’ve been nice."
