Close to Grand Central Station, UN Building and Central park. 30 min walk to The Empire State and 1 hr walk to pick up The Circle Line Cruise around Manhattan (would recommend). "The good: the room was clean and the location is good - near Central Park, 5th Avenue, Park Avenue, etc. The bad: everything in the room was worn, like it has been in constant use for the last 15+ years with minimal maintenance. Vent in the bathroom didn’t work. One of the shower doors was missing. Toilet seat was worn (??), and all the other furniture was beaten up or stained.
